Your heart activity at rest, under stress and in daily life

An ECG examination (electrocardiogram) is a simple and painless examination that allows us to measure the electrical activity of your heart. This makes it possible to detect potential irregularities at an early stage. We often begin with a resting ECG, which can provide important information about your heart health within just a few minutes.

Depending on the medical question, an exercise ECG may also be useful, in which heart activity is assessed under physical exertion.

Long-term ECG monitoring plays a special role: for this, you wear a small and comfortable recording device for about 24 hours during your normal daily routine. By recording a realistic picture of your heart activity in everyday life, a long-term ECG enables a better diagnosis and greater reassurance. It can help detect cardiac arrhythmias, for example, that occur only occasionally and often remain unnoticed during a short examination.

We then discuss the results with you in detail and plan any further steps if needed. In this way, we keep a reliable eye on your heart health together.
